Automatic Vehicle Identification(AVI)

The main goal of the AVI system is to identify and manage vehicles on local roads. It is commonly used for monitoring and controlling vehicle passage, as well as providing related vehicle management and monitoring functions. AVI is an efficient system designed for the recognition and management of license plates of vehicles traveling on local roads. It utilizes advanced intelligent image license plate detection and recognition technology to quickly and accurately capture license plates while vehicles are in motion. By installing network cameras on the road, the AVI system can effectively detect vehicles and license plate objects in various directions of travel and simultaneously identify the license plate numbers. The AVI system can be paired with AVI_CAM vehicle recognition cameras to achieve multi-lane recognition capability.

This system equipment can be combined with HIPOWER's peripheral devices, such as RFID readers, and license plate recognition cameras (AVI_CAM) along with LED supplementary lights for vehicle detection and recognition during transit. This integration provides a more comprehensive vehicle management solution. Additionally, when paired with the Central Vehicle Retrieval Management System platform (LPRM), it can accommodate multi-lane management requirements, further expanding its functionalities and application scope.

Furthermore, the system also supports integration with RFID technology for multi-factor identification and matching, as well as information management functions. It can be applied to assess travel time on local roads, providing information on traffic conditions for travelers. Additionally, when integrated with dynamic traffic signal control systems on urban roads, it can be used for assessing the benefits of establishing dynamic signal controls on specific road segments. It can also be utilized by law enforcement agencies for vehicle passage record retrieval, query, and combining with electronic maps for trajectory tracking and other application scenarios.
